Mashed Potatoes

Cut potatoes into chunks. Place in boiling water and cook until soft - about 15 minutes (depending on size of chunks). Drain the potatoes and put back into pot. Add milk, butter and salt to taste and mash until smooth.

You can also try using chicken broth instead of butter for a lowfat version


10 - 12 red potatoes (do not peel them)
1 stick butter
salt to taste
1/4 c milk
